Olivia Bumble Bee Name Card

Hello and Welcome back to Personalized Name Art,

Today I have a simple card to showcase to you.  This card is a bit larger than my usual designs, but I love that it is so different because it is bound to get plenty of attention and yet I have plenty of surface space to really design my little heart out.  Let me show you how to do this for yourself.

What You Will Need:

So-So-Sweet Paper Stack

Let’s Put It Together:

Step One: From the So So Sweet card stock stack take the dark red pattern paper and fold it in half which will automatically give you the perfect dimensions of  4 x 8 inches because this is an 8×8 stack.

Step Two: From the same stack find the pattern paper with the butterflies on it and cut it to 3.5 x7.5 inches and adhere this to the dark red card stock paper.

Step Three: Using the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge cut out the bumble bee design in both the larger and smaller sizes and assemble them according to the instruction for that design.  Once complete add them to the card base using glue dots.

Step Four: Take the light yellow card stock paper and cut it to 1.5 x 4 inches is what I used on my design, but this will vary depending upon the name you are using.  Once cut give it the flag look but cutting in on a diagonal on the left hand side.

Step Five: With that being complete you are new ready to pick your letters and pick them up with your acrylic blocks and stamp them onto the yellow card stock using the pink ink pad, now you are ready to adhere this onto the card and that completes the card.

I hope you enjoyed this beautiful, cute card and decide to give it a try for yourself.  Until next time happy crafting.

Zach Lizard Name Card

Welcome back to Personalized Name Art,

The idea for this personalized name card came to me a couple days ago and I really liked how it turned out and I thought I would share it with you all.  I don’t really like lizards, but it came to me none the less.  I used heat embossing in the making of this card so if you don’t know how to do that now is your chance to learn.

What You Will Need:

Let’s Put It Together:

Step One: Take your white card stock and cut it to 5 x 10 inches.  Next fold it in half to create your card base of 5 x 5 inches, and use your corner rounder to round all four edges.

Step Two: Use your acrylic block to pick up the clear lizard stamp and using your green ink pad stamp randomly the lizard design until the white card stock is filled with designs and allow it to dry.

Step Three: The dark brown card stock is the next to be added.  Cut the dark brown card stock paper to 1 x 5 inches and then use the corner rounder to round the edges along the long side, and adhere it down onto the right hand side of the white card base.

Step Four: Your dark blue card stock paper will be added next.  Cut it to the dimensions of 1.5 x 5 inches.  Use the scallop border punch to punch the long edge of this paper and use the corner rounder to round the opposite edges.

Step Five: Now to emboss the name you will need to choose your letters and attach it to your acrylic block.  Once finished get it inked up with the versamark ink and then stamp the dark blue card stock in the bottom left hand corner.

Step Six: Quickly add the white embossing powder to the stamped image, and use the heating tool until melted and allow to set.  Once complete you can adhere it to the card stock base.

Step Seven: Lastly, punch three holes in the top right hand corner of the card and put in your eyelets and that completes the card.

Whew, that was a lot of steps, but not too terribly time consuming.  Give this card a try and let me know how you liked it. Until next time happy crafting!

Zephy Personalized Bookmark

Welcome to Personalized Name Art,

I just made this bookmark for my little girl and I thought I would share just how easy it is to put this together.  I would make a great compliment as a gift and who knows who’s day you will uplift when you give it away.

What You Will Need:

Let’s Put It Together:

Step One:  Cut out your dark red card stock to 2.25 x 5.5 inches and your white card stock to 1.75 x 4.75 inches and use your mega runner to adhere these together.

Step Two:  Us your acrylic block to mount and stamp the sentiment “You’re the cream in my coffee” on the top portion of the white card stock using the pink ink pad.

Step Three:  Next use your acrylic block to mount and stamp the image of the mug on some light pink card stock paper using the black ink pad, and cut this out giving a very slight border around your mug.

Step Five:  Once the mug image is adhered to the bottom of the white card stock paper you are now ready to add your name.  Use the cricut machine along with the Wild Card Cartridge and cut out the lettering for your name.

Step Six:  With that being complete check that your spacing is good and layout your lettering making sure it fits.  Once you have it the way you want it begin to adhere the letters one at a time using the zig two way glue pen, and that compeletes your personalized bookmark.

You could do this for many as the supplies necessary are minimal and it is a lot of fun to put together.  I hope you enjoyed it and until next time happy crafting.

Jayla Flower Name Card

Welcome back to Personalized Name Art,

I made this card for my Niece for her birthday and I thought I would share how you too can create this simple card.  It probably took me 5 minutes if even to make it so it would be perfect for kid crafting.

What You Will Need:

Let’s Put It Together:

Step One:  The color for the card base is white, so you will be cutting a regular 8.5 x 11 inch piece of card stock paper in half to get a 5.5 x 8.5 inch piece of paper.  Fold this in half to create your card base which will end up being 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Step Two:  The first layer to this card is the bright pink card stock paper.  Cut this to match the dimensions of your base (4.25 x 5.5 inches) and adhere this down to the base with the glue runner on all four sides.

Step Three:  In the Luxury Stack find the pattern paper as shown in the image above and cut it to 5.25 x 4 inches to give it a slight border for the pink to show.

Step Four:  Using the alphabet stamp set and the acrylic block stamp the name of your chosing with the chocolate ink pad  on the bottom right hand side of the card.

Step Five:  Find the design for the flower focal in the Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge and cut it out according to the directions for that design.  Once completed adhere it to the card and you are done.

I hope you enjoy making this card as much as I did, until next time, happy crafting.

Mikey Seal Name Card

Welcome back to Personalized Name Art,

This card was for a friend of my daughters who had a birthday and she wanted to do something nice for him since we got an invite to The Big Bounce.  Obviously it is intended for a young boy and has a super cute seal smiling and mentally saying  Hello!!!

What You Will Need:

Let’s Put It Together:

Step One: Cut out your brown card stock paper to 5.5 by 8.5 inches so that once it is folded in half it has the dimensions of 4.25 by 5.5.

Step Two:  Use your lime green card stock as your first layer and trim it a to have a slight border around the edges and adhere this down onto your brown card stock base.

Step Three: In your Stack 7 card stock stack find the pattern paper with the green plaid design and keep the width equal to that of the lime green card stock so you still have your border and trim it to 2.5 inches lengthwise to leave your plenty of space to add your name art.

Step Four:  Using your acrylic alphabet stamp set and your chocolate ink pad stamp your name in the top right hand quadrant of the lime green card stock.

Step Five:  Now we are ready for our focal.  With your cricut machine cut out the seal design using the correct colored card stock and use your pop dots to adhere it to your card just left of your stamped name.

See how easy that was.  This would be a great project to do along with your kids.  They love the designs on the Cricut Cartridges especially the Create a Critter cartridge.  I hope you enjoyed it and until next time, happy crafting.

Cassey Sundae Name Art

Welcome back to Personalized Name Art,

Today’s design is a simple name art design using layering and a cute focal along with the name.  You will not believe how easy this is to put together so let’s get to it.

What You Will Need:

Let’s Put It Together:

Step One:  On the Cricut machine find the page with the instructions to cut the three scoop ice cream sundae.  Load your cutting mat with your desired color scheme and cut out the design and put aside.

Step Two:  In the Butterflies and Blossoms stack pick out the pattern paper with the sparkly flowers and cut it to 9.25″ by 8″

Step Three: Next cut out the light pink card stock paper to 7″ by 8.5″ and adhere this to the center of the flower patterned paper.  Follow this by cutting the dark pink card stock paper to 7.25″ by5.5″.

Step Four:  Now we are ready to add the ribbon to the dark pink card stock paper.  Cut the light green polka dot ribbon to about 8 inches and adhere it to the tips of the ribbon.  You will be using the wrap around method for this so the adhesive is only on the pack of the card stock leaving the front free.

Step Five:  You are now ready to adhere the dark pink card stock paper to the center of the light pink card stock paper.  Now take another small strip of ribbon and tie it in a bow to the ribbon already there.

Step Six:  We are now ready to adhere the ice cream sundae focal onto the card on the left hand side.

Step Seven:  For the last step you will simply stamp the name you have chosen for the design using the alphabet stamp set and the chocolate ink pad in the center just under the ribbon and that completely the artwork.

I hope you enjoyed it and until next time happy creating.

Adam Name Card

Hello and welcome back to Personalized Name Art,

I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while.  This is the twin name card that I promised from before.  As you can see this design mirrors the Alice name card on the previous post.  You will also see that the directions on how to put this together will be very similar so let’s get to it.

What You Will Need:

Let’s Put It Together:

Step One: Cut your light blue card stock paper in half on the short side and that will give you a piece of paper that measures 5.5″ by 8.5″.  Fold this in half again to the dimensions of 4.25″ by 5.5″ and this is your card base.

Step Two:  From the Stack 7 card stock stack find the paper with the diamond design and cut it fit your card base with a 1.5″ opening at the bottom for where we will stamp our name.

Step Three:  Once you have that paper adhered to the card base it is time to stamp your name.  From the script alphabet stamp set select the letters for the name and lay them on a flat surface and pick them up with your acrylic block.  Ink up your chocolate ink pad and stamp the name along the bottom left hand quandrant of the card.

Step Four:  Using the mono adhesive, put a line of tape down along the mid section of the pattern paper and the light blue card stock paper.  Now cut your ribbon to wrap completely around the card and stick it along this line.  Be sure to use adhesive in the back as well to make sure there is no ribbon hanging on the opposite side, and that completes our card.

I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you give this simple card a try.  Until next time.

Alice Hearts Name Card

Welcome back to Personalized Name Art,

The creation of this card and the card that will be on the next post were designed to be twin cards.  They are almost exactly the same, but this card is obviously fimanine and the next is masculine.  The contrast is not the varied which makes it a great gift for any occasion you can think of.  No matter the name they will be sure to love this beautiful card, so let’s see how easy it is to create.

Let’s Put This Card Together:

Step One:  Take your light pink card stock paper and cut it to 5.5 x 8.5 inches and fold this in half to create your card base.

Step Two: Find the red pattern paper in the image above in the Stack 7 card stock stack and cut it to fit the card base, but leave room on the bottom of the card to stamp the name which would be about 1.5 to 2 inches, and adhere this to the card base.

*Tip: place your stamp layout on the bottom of the card first to get an idea of the exact amount of space you will need for your pattern paper

Step Three: Take your ribbon and wrap it around the card and tie it in a bow just at the bottom of the pattern paper.

Step Four: Stamp the name of your choosing using the pink inkpad in the bottom left hand corner of the card.

Step Five: Punch our the two sizes of hearts using the punches on the dark red card stock paper and use glue dot to adhere them to the base and that completes the card.

I hope you enjoyed the card design and I hope you also have fun trying it for yourself.
